THE WINE CELLAR
Simone Scaletta is a young viticulturist who produces his own wines in Monforte d’Alba, one of the eleven municipalities of Barolo. In the locality of Manzoni he cultivates five hectares of vineyard with a natural approach, respectful of the earth and its fruits. Viglioni, Sarsera, Autin’d Madama and Chirlet are the four vineyards that give their names to his wines: Dolcetto d’Alba, Barbera d’Alba, Langhe Nebbiolo and Barolo, wines full of personality and character, products of a natural wine making process, made of racking at the appropriate time and slow maturation, without the need of filtration, that allows for a balanced, authentic and natural development.
