THE WINE CELLAR
In the 50s Luigi Pira decided to focus on grapes and wine, in the following decades he sold grapes and bulk wine to the biggest wineries in the area of Alba which sought high quality products from Serralunga d'Alba. Today Gianpaolo is flanked by his brothers Romolo and Claudio. Starting from the 90s, the winery has been refurbished to enable the production of high quality Barolo. The venues were restored and enlarged, the equipment was replaced keeping a balance between tradition and technology. In the areas dedicated to wine-making, ageing and stocking you can breathe the perfume of great red wines: Barolo, Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Alba, Dolcetto d'Alba.
