Cantine

The Gabutti Winery was set up in the early 1970s when the BOASSO family started to make its own wine from the grapes grown in the family-owned vineyards. It was named after one of the most renowned areas of Barolo wine production; the Gabutti area was previously classified by Renato Ratti as a first-class sub-zone. The family-run company is managed by Franco BOASSO and produces wine from the grapes grown on 4.5 hectares located within the Serralunga district, in the sub-zones of Gabutti, Meriame and Margheria. Special attention is dedicated to work in the vineyards in the conviction that great wines are produced from prime quality grapes. After a traditional vinification process the wines are aged in medium-sized barrels made from new wood. The wines obtained are now exported to the main European and overseas markets, as well as throughout Italy.
