THE WINE CELLAR
The Luigi Drocco winery, also known as Cascina Pontepietra, is located at the foot of the eastern side of the Diano d'Alba hill, on the border between the townships of Alba and Diano d'Alba. The farm has been managed for 30 years by the family of Luigi Drocco, who, with his wife Silvana and sons Fabrizio and Roberto, have dedicated themselves with passion and respect for tradition to grape growing and wine making. The property covers 15 hectares with vineyards of Dolcetto, Nebbiolo, Barbera, Arneis, Chardonnay and Moscato. The cultivation methods are extremely rigorous. Nothing is left to chance, since that is the only way to obtain superior quality wines which represent the terroir and the experience that have produced them.
