Our company is founded in 10th-century by great-grandfather Giuseppe, called 'l Barba Gepin; but it became well-established with grandfather Giovanni and was named after him, privileging vineyard cultivation. With sons Giuseppino and Domenico it got specialized in the production of great wines of Langa Albese. Now Paolo, representing the fourth generation, is continuing the family tradition with commitment and enthusiasm as ever, trying to combine as well as one can the past experience with today's innovation. The company has spread along the surface of 20 hectares in municipalities of Diano and Serralunga D'Alba. In the last years, beside vineyard, we have cultivated also the hazel grove on the surface of 4 hectares. The hazelnuts are a special niche product "Tonda gentile delle Langhe" belonging to the "Nocciola Piemonte" PGI. Carefully roasted and packaged, the hazelnuts can be tasted in conjunction with our wines or processed in the most greedy delicacy of the confectionary piedmontese tradition.
