THE WINE CELLAR

The history of our small winery started with my grandfather, “Gundin”, who share-cropped the land belonging to Professor Giovanni Dalmasso. Giovanni was a luminary of viticulture and oenology. Gundin learnt the skills of cultivating vines and eventually acquired his first plot of land, the “Pasau” vineyard. From that little plot, of little more than one hectare, the winery grew to its current size of 10 hectares of vines run by the family. The main grapes grown are Barbera, Nebbiolo, Dolcetto, Bonarda, Grignolino, Arneis, Chardonnay. The grape types are selected according to the zone of production, vineyard orientation, soil type and their yield. The classic wines for daily consumption are developed following this method and others are selected based on the results of a final evaluation. I would be very happy to show you around my vineyard while telling you a bit about the past and other anecdotes and experiences, at the same time tasting our wines together and thus putting our life before you.
