Cantine

After the theory of the desk at school and many years learning the skills of the wine cellar, finally in 2000 I managed to realise my dream. The new millennium saw me working in the vineyard that was first my grandfather’s and then my grandmother’s; I had become a producer. By uniting tradition and technology I aim to produce wine that respects, as much as possible, our territory of the Langa, with intense perfume that recalls spring and structure that recalls the hard work in the vineyard. Being aware that in this work nothing should ever be taken for granted; even when working in the same way, each vine, each barrel is different, each vintage creates its own character thus transforming our work into a continual challenge. This is a challenge, each year, to obtain wines that reach our high expectations. Our vineyards are not big, with just three hectares of vines we grow Dolcetto in Pistote, Nebbiolo from Barolo in the sub-zone Rocchettevino, and Barbera in Monticello on the sandy soil on the left side of the Tanaro river.
