Cantine

The documented history of the Germano family in vitculture in Barolo includes the fact that Teobaldo Germano was the founder and first president of the Cantina Sociale of Barolo, founded in 1902. Encouraged by his grandfather, Angelo established his winery with the help of his wife, who brought some interesting vineyards as a dowry. In the first years of the 2000s a project commenced to renovate the buildings of the winery; what was the Cantina Sociale di Barolo, is now the wine cellar of Germano Angelo. Shortly part of this area will be turned into a magnificent space to welcome tourists and, above all, a new kitchen where typical local food products will be produced using ingredients cultivated organically on the farm. These products will be able to be tasted and matched with the wines of Germano Angelo. Part of the new space will be dedicated to a family museum to honour the successive generations that have preserved and improved our marvelous gastronomic and cultural heritage.
