The vineyard, the cantina and the resort at Amalia Cascina are all family operated and all are marked by the placid rhythms of the surrounding hills. Maria Angela, the mother, manages the B & B; Gigi, the father, lends a hand wherever is required, while his son Paolo takes care of the vineyards, expanded over the years with acquisitions in the prestigious Barolo Bussia cru of Monforte and Le Coste. The wine philosophy at Amalia Cascina in Langa is based on a criteria of respect and protection of its land while making the most of the characteristics of each vineyard and each vintage.
