Situated in a beautiful amphitheatre among the hills, completely covered with vineyards, Cordara’s cellar is located near Castel Boglione, a village in the High Monferrato at 260 meters of height above the sea level. Four generations have taken part in the hard, but exciting work in the vineyards and the cellar. Currently the family company is directed by Claudia, agronomist and wine-maker with the help of her parents, Felis and Lorenzo and her son Thomas. The wines we produce have a strong personality and they reflect clearly the land of origin. The optimal exposure of the vineyards, the drastic reduction of the yields per hectare and the eco-friendly techniques, are the essential elements to obtain grapes of high quality. The process of vinification, which takes place later, is aimed to preserve the original characteristics. The purpose is to create the right balance between tradition and innovation.
