Seven rows of bottles. One piece of cardboard cover on top. Other seven rows. Another cardboard cover. This is how back in 1967 grandfather Vigio arranged his “black gold” in the stone cellar, being absolutely sure that again the expert approach, sensibility and the passion of grandfather Carlo had brought the best grapes into the winery. Following the same passion, which has grown in the last 40 years of experience, in the heart of the typical area of Barbera and Moscato d’Asti production, this small winery turned into the prestigious Cascina Fiore wine company; where the children and grandchildren of Carlo Fiore and Luigi “Vigio” Borio are following the traditions of the family wine-making. Just a few hectares overlooking the hills of Costigliole d’Asti, with the best aspect in the area, for limited and selected production of DOCG wines.
