THE WINE CELLAR
The first important viticultural activity dates back to the early 1900's, thanks to Prospero Caldera, founder of the winery. The name Prospero, typical of the ancient Monferrato civilization, proved to be very auspicious, and in a short time the small business became famous thanks to the excellent features of its wine; moreover, the Caldera family was a pioneer selling and delivering their wines to consumers homes and to shopkeepers, even abroad. In the following years, first Carlo and then Giuseppe were the successors of the founder Prospero. Fabrizia Caldera, assisted by her husband Roberto Rossi who is also a wine expert, and his son Fabio,  has in the past few years represented the fourth generation of passionate wine producers. With them the Caldera wines continues its history which is related to tradition and to the area while respecting nature and man. The Company is also attentive to the modern market developments and more and more open to quality proposals.
