THE WINE CELLAR

In 1925, Serafino Levi with his wife Teresina and their children Lidia and Romano, chose to settle in Neive, land of great wines and where pomace of the highest quality was available, here he founded his direct fire distillery. After his death in 1933, and then the Teresina’s death in 1945, Romano who was only 17 years old, decided to quit his studies and, with the help of his sister Lidia, continued distillation. Today, the discontinuous still of copper, is the only one in the world, still active with direct fire for the distillation of grappa.
