Cantine

Wine is the history of Maria Grazia Rivetti, Giogio Costa and their two daughters, Elena and Manuela. The winery was set up in the 1990s with the acquisition of the farmhouse and its vineyard. It was a choice dictated by the love of a place where memories are always present and history is embellished by them. After the environs of the winery were improved and the vines were converted, the production of Moscato commenced which was first bottled in 2000. La Trava also produces other varieties such as Favorita, Arneis, Dolcetto, Barbera and Nebbiolo. Thanks to hard work, a passion for the Langa, and hills highly suited to the production of the sweet Moscato, sales are now made in other parts of Europe. Maria Grazia Rivetti and Giorgio Costa’s dedication to the land also follows through to precise methods in the wine cellar to enhance the perfumes of the grapes. This does not involve the use small oak barrels, but the selection of only the best bunches that  give a true expression of the Langa in the Mango area.
