Cantine

Situated in the Tortonesi hills, our winery has been handed down from generation to generation and covers an area of about 23 hectares. Since 1999 only organic methods of cultivation have been used. The steep hills, good orientation, the calciferous rocky ground and attention to the management of the vines all result in the production of quality grapes that are vinified using traditional methods. These hills are particularly suited to Barbera. Three different vinifications are used: Traditional cement; barriques; and long maceration. We also have the Nibiò clone of Dolcetto (indigenous), and Croatina. Another is Timorasso, a white indigenous grape of this area; it is a structured wine that does not fear ageing. The winery is run along family lines and has been handed down through the generations.
