Cà Richeta winery has a long history, since 1800 the Morando family has been producing wines well-known for their quality. During and after  WW I, Enrichetta Amandola Morando and the young daughter in law, Valentina, continued to produce wines with passion and care. After WW II it was Giuseppe Morando, one of Valentina's children, to take the lead of the family business. To follow in his steps it was the first of Giuseppe (Pinutin) grandsons, Enrico Orlando, who inherited not only the name of the grand-grand-grandmother, but also the love for the land and the passion to produce quality wines. Due to the courage and the strong character of the grand-grand-grandmother Enrichetta, Enrico Orlando decided to dedicate the family winery to her and re-named it "Cà Richeta" (in the local Piedmontese dialect: Enrichetta's home).
