Welcome to Villa Sparina, a wine-making farm in Monterotondo, Piedmont, in the heart of the home of Gavi wine DOCG (Denomination of Origin Controlled e Guaranteed). Quality, personality and great wines. This, today, is Villa Sparina, a vineyard founded by the Moccagatta family in the 1970's. A winery which has always put the territory at the centre of its projects with an eye to make the most of the history and culture that is tied to the grapes of the area. Villa Sparina comprises 100 hectares of land, 70 of which are cultivated with local grapes for the production of Gavi and Barbera wines. Quite unique in the Gavi area, these historic cellars, dating from the 18th century, are still perfectly maintained. Since their construction, wine production has never ceased.
