Cantine

The Accornero family have been cultivating grapes for four generations with the same passion and commitment that motivated Grandfather Bartolomeo, ably assisted by his son Giuseppe, to produce high quality wines. After many years of hard work and savings the Cascina Ca’ Cima was acquired in 1897 from the nobleman Knight Negri.  The generation continued with Giovanni Battista Angelo Accornero, the son of Giuseppe, who married Alfonsina Coppo. From this marriage a son was born, Giulio Accornero, who together with his wife, Mariuccia and their son, Ermanno, are the proprietors today. Cascina Ca’ Cima is located in the Comune of Vignale Monferrato. The 20 hectares of vines are all strictly organic, without the use of chemical fertilisers and herbicides. Only natural manure and products that do not damage the environment are used, thus protecting the land and guaranteeing the quality of the products. The cellar is equipped with modern technology, but at the same time remains faithful to traditional vinification methods, resulting in prestigious Monferrato wines.
