THE WINE CELLAR
Luigi Arnulfo was one of the first entrepreneurs of Alba in the oenological field. In 1874 he bought the Bertoroni farmhouse, in the Costa di Bussia region, in Monforte d’Alba district. This estate included the already the famous fields of “Campo dei Buoi” and “Campo del gatto”. Today they are precious cru, the heart of the Costa di Bussia concern: 15 hectares of vineyards that offer distinctive and complex wines. All the details of the brand, the territory and the precious Barolo can be learnt with a visit to the 11 hectares of vines that surround the historical museum. The museum is dedicated to Luigi Arnulfo and exhibits the objects and letters he received from customers all over the world. The tour includes a visit to the renovated cellar where it is possible to discover the traditional winemaking process.
