THE WINE CELLAR
The great love I have for the land and the joy to collect its fruits make me produce natural wine from organic grapes. Staying in wineyard, inebriating me of its scents make me feel closer to my father and my ancestors, who were winemakers in Oltrepò Pavese area. This passionate fascination takes me to an incessant research of the wine as the one produced long time ago from the farmers; done only with native yeast and without additional sulphites. We own and cultivate 4 hectares of wineyeard, certificated as organic from ICEA Piemonte.  We only produce wines obtained from our grapes, below our products: Dolcetto Superiore (Ovada) La Bocassa; Barbera, Piemonte Albarossa; Lo Strano (nebbiolo, barbera, merlot, ciliegiolo); Rosato La Solera (cortese, arneis, pinot nero, moscato); Piemonte Chardonnay in amphora; Libeccio (cortese, arneis, moscato). Dolcetto Superiore 2007, Lo Strano 2007, Albarossa 2010 are present in Veronelli guide, while, in the guide “Vini buoni d’Italia”, you can find Bocassa 2007-2011 and Albarossa 2010. Since we are small producers, we did choose to diversify our farm from the others, coming out with old year, except for Libeccio and Rosato. We are  one of the founding member of Consorzio Ovada DOCG. We are part of FIVI and we will enter in Vinnatur soon. Alberto Montagna
