Colli Tortonesi Doc - Vini rossi

Description

A Docg wine (Ministerial Decree of October 7, 2011) that groups different varieties of wines, white and red, produced in about thirty towns in the province of Alessandria. Among the main types of red wines are Barbera, Dolcetto, Rosso and Chiaretto.

Grape variety: Aleatico and/or Barbera and/or Bonarda piemontese and/or Dolcetto and/or Freisa and/or Grignolino and/or Pinot nero and/or Cabernet franc and/or Cabernet Sauvignon and/or Croatina and/or Lambrusca di Alessandria and/or Merlot and/or Nebbiolo and/or Sangiovese 100%.
Minimum alcohol content:  10% vol.

Colli Tortonesi Novello Doc
Grape variety: Aleatico and/or Barbera and/or Bonarda piemontese and/or Dolcetto and/or Freisa and/or Grignolino and/or Pinot nero and/or Cabernet franc and/or Cabernet Sauvignon and/or Croatina and/or Lambrusca di Alessandria and/or Merlot and/or Nebbiolo and/or Sangiovese 100%.
Minimum alcohol content:  11% vol.

Colli Tortonesi Barbera Doc
Grape variety: Barbera from the 85% to 100%; while the remaining 15% is made from non-aromatic grapes grown in recommended or authorised vineyards.
Minimum alcohol content:  11% vol.

Colli Tortonesi Barbera Superiore Doc
Grape variety: Barbera from the 85% to 100%; while the remaining 15% is made from non-aromatic grapes grown in recommended or authorised vineyards.
Minimum alcohol content:  12,50% vol.

Colli Tortonesi Dolcetto Doc
Grape variety: Dolcetto from the 85% to 100%; while the remaining 15% is made from non-aromatic grapes grown in recommended or authorised vineyards.
Minimum alcohol content:  10,50% vol.

Colli Tortonesi Dolcetto Novello Doc
Grape variety: Dolcetto from the 85% to 100%; while the remaining 15% is made from non-aromatic grapes grown in recommended or authorised vineyards.
Minimum alcohol content:  11% vol.
 
Colli Tortonesi Croatina Doc
Grape variety: Croatina from the 85% to 100%; while the remaining 15% is made from non-aromatic grapes grown in recommended or authorised vineyards.
Minimum alcohol content:  12% vol.

Colli Tortonesi Chiaretto Doc 
Grape variety: Aleatico and/or Barbera and/or Bonarda piemontese and/or Dolcetto and/or Freisa and/or Grignolino and/or Pinot nero and/or Cabernet franc and/or Cabernet Sauvignon and/or Croatina and/or Lambrusca di Alessandria and/or Merlot and/or Nebbiolo and/or Sangiovese 100%.

Colli Tortonesi Barbera, served at a temperature of 16-18 °C, is particularly suited for mixed boiled and roasted red meats. Dolcetto is a perfect pairing with cured meats, soups and white meats. Serving temperature: 18-20 °C.
