Nebbiolo d'Alba Doc

Description

Made from pure Nebbiolo grapes, grown in the vast wine-growing region of the Cuneo province (between Langhe and Roero) the production regulations of this wine include various types, such as Nebbiolo d'Alba Superiore, Nebbiolo d'Alba Spumante and Nebbiolo d'Alba Spumante Rosé.

Production regulations: D.M. March 25, 2010.
Grape Variety: Nebbiolo 100%.
Colour: ruby red that turns garnet.
Bouquet: fruity and characteristic, sometimes with hints of wood.
Taste: dry, sweet and well structured.
Ageing: at least 18 months, of which at least 6 in wooden barrels.
Minimum alcohol content: 12,50% vol.
 
Nebbiolo d’Alba Spumante Doc
Production regulations: D.M. March 25, 2010.
Grape Variety: Nebbiolo 100%.
Colour: ruby red that sometimes turns garnet.
Bouquet: clean, fruity and complex with hints of yeast and bread crust.
Taste: dry, sweet and well structured.
Froth: fine and persistent.
Ageing: minimum 6 months.
Minimum alcohol content: 11,50% vol.
 
Nebbiolo d’Alba Spumante Rosè Doc
Production regulations: D.M. March 25, 2010.
Grape Variety: Nebbiolo 100%.
Colour: more or less intense rosé.
Bouquet: clean, fruity and complex with hints of yeast and bread crust.
Taste: dry, sweet and well structured.
Froth: fine and persistent.
Ageing: minimum 6 months.
Minimum alcohol content: 11,50% vol.

DO YOU KNOW

Nebbiolo d'Alba is excellent served with dishes of the Langa culinary tradition. A perfect pairing with pasta with meat sauce, truffle dishes, roasts, grilled meats and cheeses. For a perfect pairing, you may want to try it with risotto with wild boar sauce and handmade truffles.
Serve at a temperature of 16-18 °C. Spumante and Spumante Rosé, served at a temperature of 8-10 °C, are perfect after a meal, for toasts, appetizers, but also as an accompaniment to fish dishes.
